Meet Diana

Diana Rochester is a Clinical Counsellor with a background in Developmental Psychology and extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. Throughout her career, she has worked across community mental health, child development, family services, youth counselling, and addictions, helping individuals navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.

Diana's approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. She believes that every individual possesses unique strengths and works alongside her clients to build upon those strengths while developing practical, meaningful strategies to overcome life's challenges. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to achieve lasting change.

Her therapeutic practice integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and family-centred approaches. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, Diana tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique needs, values, and goals of every individual and family she supports.

Diana has particular expertise in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, personality disorders, neurodiversity, parenting challenges, and behavioural concerns in children and adolescents. She also has extensive experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, FASD, and other neurodevelopmental differences through behavioural consultation, parent education, and family support. Her work alongside Indigenous communities, neurodivergent individuals, and families navigating complex systems reflects her commitment to cultural humility, respect, and trauma-informed care.

In addition to her clinical practice, Diana serves as an instructor in Mental Health and Addictions Certification Program, where she is passionate about preparing future mental health professionals through evidence-based education, clinical mentorship, and practical application. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and providing high-quality, compassionate care that empowers individuals and families to thrive.
